When: July 23rd 2023, 12:30pm-1:30pm

Where: Kafka Coffee House, 31 Subway Street, Bisbee, AZ 85603

Description:

Monsoon is a special time of year here: the parched, dry landscape has gone without water for months until the winds shift, bringing moisture from the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, and skies pour moisture onto thirsty vegetation-- sometimes violently. Our next talk will discuss the mechanics of monsoon rains including how and why they occur from a climactic and meteorological perspective.
