Caves, Water Kartchner

Join Water Wise and our friends from Kartchner Caverns for this great program on the importance of water in cave ecosystems and the formation of cave structures! This presentation will be held on Friday October 11th at 6:00 PM in the Public Meeting Room of Groth Hall on the University of Arizona Sierra Vista Campus located at 1140 Colombo Avenue. We are excited to hear from Cave Resource Manager, Chelsea Ballard!

 

Chelsea, has a background in karst hydrogeology and has spent more than 15 years of her career studying cave and karst systems across the country and more recently internationally. She holds experience in cave conservation, restoration, show cave management and cave and karst research. Originally from Kentucky she is enjoying the Sonoran desert and unique geology of the southwest.
